Hekate Film Collective is a Vienna-based collective for intersectional feminist film, media art, and cultural work. Founded in 2020 by artists and filmmakers İpek Hamzaoğlu and Laura Nitsch, the collective today consists of İpek Hamzaoğlu, Barbara Juch, and Juliane Saupe. Hekate collaborates with queer feminist and post*migrant filmmakers, artists, writers, and activists, and operates as an artist-run network committed to shared knowledge, collective authorship, and community-oriented cultural production.
Collaborations include Katharina Aigner, Julia Belova, Malu Blume, D–Arts, Katrin Euller, Veza Fernandez, Maggessi/Morusiewicz, mollusca productions, Sebastiano Sing, Side Effect Theater, Sophie Thun, Sophie Utikal, as well as the Autonomous Women’s Shelters Austria (AÖF), with whom Hekate realised the video campaigns Schluss mit den Ausreden! (2021) and Keine Privatsache: Gemeinsam gegen Gewalt an Frauen (2022).

Hamzaoğlu, Juch, and Saupe currently teach the interdisciplinary seminar Addressing Violence Against Women at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
